This is what you can expect:

• Evaluate and ensure the quality of safety-critical Embedded-Software in aviation and rail projects

• Develop and monitor quality processes according to DO-178, DO-330, and comparable standards

• Review software development processes and document deviations in a structured manner

• Conduct internal reviews, create quality assurance records, and technical documentation

• Prioritize and conduct training sessions on software lifecycle processes and relevant aviation standards

• Accompany customer reviews and audits according to standards like AS9115

• Manage requirements and evidence with IBM Rational DOORS and link them in a traceable manner

To be successful in this role, certain professional and personal prerequisites are helpful. The following requirements give you an overview of the experiences and qualities that would be beneficial for this position.

What you should bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Mechatronics

• Multiple years of experience in quality assurance and development of safety-critical Embedded-Software

• In-depth knowledge of DO-178, DO-330, ISO 26262, or comparable standards

• Excellent competence in structured documentation, verification, and Anforderungsmanagement

• Advanced user knowledge of Python and ideally IBM Rational DOORS

• Independent, structured, and result-oriented work style in complex development environments

• Prompt English skills and basic to advanced German language skills
