Software Quality Assurance Engineer (all genders)

You take on challenges like

• ensuring quality assurance for safety-critical embedded software developments in the aerospace and rail industries.

• conceiving and monitoring quality processes in accordance with aviation standards (e.g. DO-178, DO-330).

• guaranteeing a process-compliant software development.

• conducting internal reviews as well as creating quality assurance documentation and records.

• conducting internal training sessions on software lifecycle processes and aviation standards.

• participating in customer reviews and audits (e.g. AS9115).

You inspire us with

• a successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification at the bachelor's level.

• several years of professional experience in the fields of quality management, quality assurance, engineering, development, IT/information systems, and technical documentation.

• in-depth experience in quality assurance and development of safety-critical embedded software.

• good knowledge of aviation standards such as DO-178 and DO-330 or comparable norms from the automotive, medical technology, or rail industries (e.g. ISO 26262).

• ideally additional knowledge of further aviation standards or branch-specific norms.

• a strong affinity for structured documentation, verification, and quality assurance processes.

• advanced user knowledge in Python as well as requirements management with IBM Rational DOORS.

• fluent German and English skills for documentation, customer communication, and international cooperation.
