Software Principal Engineer (Python) @ Dell Technologies

Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements 6 to 10 years of related experience in the following areas: Exceptional programming expertise, with a strong focus on Python or C Strong understanding of modern Linux, including the kernel, drivers, containers, early boot, and other low-level technologies Ability to write clean, testable code; familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OpenStack. Familiarity with containerization using Docker. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results. Experience working on large-scale distributed systems, including scalability, reliability, and performance considerations. Strong understanding of security principles and practices, including secure coding practices and compliance with relevant regulations. Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Developer, or Docker Certified Developer are a plus.
