Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d) - SAP Transport & Release

Our Cross Engineering Value Chain team is looking for a Software Integration Engineer - SAP Transport & Release on a permanent contract based in Upline.

Within the Cross Engineering Value Chain team, we design, secure, and evolve the technological backbone that orchestrates Decathlon's global value chain. Comprised of experts with complementary profiles, our team guarantees the stability, quality, and continuity of application deployments across all our ecosystems. Our ambition: to accelerate digital transformation and support the modernization of our architectures towards SAP S/4HANA and the Cloud, while ensuring impeccable governance and a maximal level of requirement.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

• Transport & Change Operations Management: Lead transport orders end-to-end through complex environments (DEV, QA, PRD) ensuring strict adherence to delivery windows, cutover milestones, and approval workflows.
• ChaRM Process Steering: Administer and supervise ChaRM workflows in SAP Solution Manager (normal, urgent, and administrative changes), proactively resolving import conflicts, sequence errors, and managing Transports of Copies (ToC).
• Quality Control & Compliance: Perform pre-import checks, validate dependencies, and monitor collisions to ensure system stability, zero-downtime deployments, and compliance with audit standards.
• Incident Resolution & Basis Coordination: Analyze and resolve transport failures, error codes (e.g., RC=8, RC=12), and sequence lockouts, in close collaboration with SAP Basis teams and functional developers.
• Modernization & Transition to SAP Cloud ALM (CALM): Actively contribute to the ChaRM migration strategy to SAP Cloud ALM, testing the deployment of new functionalities and the integration of the cTMS service for hybrid and S/4HANA environments.
• Stakeholder Alignment & Change Advisory Board (CAB): Interact with the Change Advisory Board (CAB), release managers, and project managers to plan deployment schedules, manage hotfixes, and coordinate system freeze periods.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven experience in SAP transport management, change management process steering, or Solution Manager/ChaRM administration.
• Business & Process Expertise: A good understanding of SAP deployment lifecycles, ITIL/CAB governance rules, and multi-system landscape management.
• Analytical Skills & Rigor: Excellent technical investigation capabilities (analysis of import logs, collision management) and a rigorous approach ensuring audit compliance.
• Soft Skills: Pedagogical approach, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to unite multidisciplinary teams (developers, Basis experts, project managers) around delivery requirements.
• Languages: Fluent professional English is essential (daily written and oral exchanges with international teams).

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• SAP Module & Tools: SAP TM, SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM), SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), SAP cTMS
• Environments: SAP S/4HANA, multi-tier landscapes (DEV / QA / PRD)
• Management Tools: JIRA
