Your Future Area of Responsibility

• Development and expansion of C++ modules within the Unreal Engine and adjacent simulation software

• Implementation and integration of interface emulators and tools to support simulation solutions

• Performance analysis, profiling, and optimization of existing software components

• Participation in the automation of build processes, testing, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) on Windows and Linux platforms

• Collaboration within an interdisciplinary team for the further development of innovative simulation solutions

• Documentation of developed software and support in adhering to development processes

• Support with containerization and deployment of software components in virtualized environments

What Sets You Apart

• Completed degree in Computer Science (m/f/d) or equivalent

• Professional experience in developing Blueprints and the Unreal Engine, ideally including multiplayer programming

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Experience with ffmpeg or comparable multimedia frameworks is advantageous

• Very good programming skills (at least C++17, multithreaded applications)

• Knowledge in performance optimization, profiling, and debugging of Unreal Engine applications

• Proficient in build systems, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and containerization (e.g., Docker) under Windows and Linux

• Very good German and English skills (C1)
