Software Engineering Managers have not only the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also manage a team of Engineers. You not only optimize your own code but make sure Engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a Software Engineer in this role, you will be responsible for: • Providing technical guidance and oversight to the engineering team. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. • Developing and maintaining software applications using Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. • Designing, implementing, and testing software solutions that meet business needs. • Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to improve their skills and knowledge. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve processes and methodologies. • Participating in code reviews and ensuring high-quality code is maintained. • Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. • At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role. • Strong technical skills in Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
