Software Engineer (System) - CT-FNC241014 030/02

Our Client is a statutory board under the Government of Singapore and they are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in devices to support the team. The activities required to be performed are as follows: Requirements gathering; Design, development, and maintenance of the software; Preparation and submission of deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Integrate and Test, User Acceptance Testing, and Deployment. The Software Engineer will be responsible for the following tasks: Conducting technical discussions with stakeholders to gather requirements; Designing, developing, and maintaining software; Preparing and submitting deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles; Collaborating with the team to ensure software meets the requirements; Troubleshooting and resolving software issues; and Providing technical guidance and support to the team. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or related field; At least 3 years of experience in software development; Strong understanding of software development life cycles; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Familiarity with Agile development methodologies; Familiarity with software development tools such as JIRA, Git, and SVN; Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++; Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL; Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS; and Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
