With this in mind, DDN is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Sustenance team. What You Will Be Doing: * Design and develop software in support of the DDN product lines. * Work with other engineers to develop, test, and maintain DDN products. * Research and implement new technologies for DDN products. * Analyze and resolve complex technical problems. * Participate in code reviews and design discussions. * Work in an Agile development environment. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. * 5+ years of software development experience. * Strong programming skills in C/C++. * Experience with Linux operating systems. * Experience with storage technologies (e.g., RAID, file systems). * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Bonus: * Experience with parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, GPFS). * Experience with object storage. * Experience with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, Ethernet). * Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python). * Experience with debugging tools (e.g., GDB).
