Software Engineer - Simulation (m/w/x)

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Simulation (m/w/x) to support one of our customers from the aerospace and defense industry. Interested? We look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Design and development of modules in simulation/validation frameworks
• Writing Rust code for high-performance simulations
• Development of tools for automatic test coverage and fault injection
• Closely working with various teams to capture requirements
• Debugging and profiling the simulation performance
• Maintaining documentation and testing infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Professional experience in the aerospace industry
• Experience with simulation, tests, or robotics frameworks
• Familiarity with complex systems
• Interest in reliability, performance, and security
• You enjoy working at the interface between software and hardware
• Motivated by fast feedback loops and real-world impacts
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop or real-time simulations (desirable)
• Familiarity with flight dynamics or control systems (desirable)
• Familiarity with CI/CD for simulation systems (desired)
