Job description
At KingMakers , we’re transforming the digital sports and gaming industry across Africa. Our mission is simple but bold: to deliver unrivalled entertainment experiences to millions of passionate sports fans — online, offline, anytime, anywhere. We’re looking for a Software Engineer – Platform & Reliability who thrives at the intersection of coding and infrastructure. This isn’t a traditional DevOps role — you’ll be embedded directly into product squads, contributing to their codebases, making positive impacts on the entire platform. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our platform’s reliability, scalability, and performance. This includes but is not limited to: designing and implementing scalable and reliable architectures, developing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical debt, and ensuring the overall reliability and performance of our platform. If you are passionate about building scalable and reliable systems, and are excited about the prospect of working on a platform that is transforming the digital sports and gaming industry, then we want to hear from you. We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge platform that is changing the game.
