Software Engineer - OneCheckout (f/m/d)

Our BCP (Business Capabilities Platform) - OneCheckout team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) on a permanent contract based in Lille.

Our teams, grouped within the BCP (Business Capability Platform), are developing the next-generation backbone of e-commerce at Decathlon. We provide a platform composed of multiple components: product catalog management, pricing, order delivery scenarios, payment, customer reviews on our products... and these microservice components will be combined to build all e-commerce experiences at Decathlon: e-commerce websites, mobile applications, the Decathlon sports stays website or activities (organized hikes, sports coaching...), "second life" (second-hand products), rentals, etc.

THE ONECHECKOUT TEAM

Within an Agile context, you will work collaboratively with developers and team members to build all the features our products must support: Cart, Checkout, and Wishlist.

Beyond feature development, you will be involved in the entire product lifecycle: support, production monitoring, performance testing, documentation writing, etc., in order to:

• facilitate the integration of these user journeys through state-of-the-art APIs.
• provide a hyper-performing, scalable, and fault-tolerant solution.

YOUR MISSIONS

• Participate in all aspects of the development process and product lifecycle, from definition to release and support phase
• Ensure a high level of API quality
• Ensure a high level of solution performance (99.7% availability, manage a load of 21k concurrent users)
• Ensure production is properly monitored using SRE metrics.
• Ensure a high level of security

YOUR TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Java
• Spring

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• 3+ years of experience on back office and API projects
• Awareness of microservices and the DevOps & SRE mindset
• Good understanding of agile methodologies
• Autonomy, rigor, teamwork
• Customer-oriented
• Good communication outside the team
• Adaptability to critical situations
