We believe at PANGEA that the energy transition does not only take place on rooftops and in heating systems – but also in software that intelligently controls processes.

Therefore, we develop with PangOS our own platform that connects sales, project management, capacity planning, finance, and operational workflows. Every day, our teams work with tools that we build ourselves. Each line of code has a direct impact on the growth of our company and the success of our projects.

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/w/d) who wants to not only develop but also shape this mission.

Tasks

• You continuously develop our operating system PangOS.
• You build features that are used daily by our teams.
• You develop robust backend solutions and think about the entire system with it.
• You automate processes and create digital solutions for real challenges.
• You bring your own ideas into product, architecture, and technology decisions.
• You work closely with the founders and departments together.
• You ensure sustainable software quality with tests and clean code.

Requirements

• Experience in web development or the willingness to quickly learn new technologies
• Ideal knowledge of Ruby on Rails or the motivation to learn it
• A sense for clean, maintainable, and sustainable software solutions
• Quality awareness and joy in developing robust systems
• An independent and pragmatic working style
• Team spirit, curiosity, and the desire to make things better
