Software Engineer (m/w/d) - IoT & Cloud

Aufgaben

You'll strengthen our development team and actively contribute to the further development of our IoT-Cloud platform. From conception to deployment, you'll develop scalable web applications and ensure that our customers always find a modern, performant, and intuitive interface.

You'll work closely with the rest of the Dev team, bring in your own ideas, and have the opportunity to shape the direction of the platform.

Your tasks

• Development and further development of modern web frontends based on Angular and TypeScript/JavaScript
• Bonding data via REST-APIs and integrating external services
• Co-shaping the frontend architecture: components, structures, best practices
• Code reviews, continuous improvement of code quality, and documentation
• Participation in CI/CD processes and modern DevOps workflows

Qualifikation

• Experience in frontend development with Angular (knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript assumed)
• Safe handling of REST-APIs and common integration mechanisms
• Basic understanding of clean code, design patterns, and software architecture
• Independent, structured working style and joy in technical challenges
• Communication skills and willingness to take responsibility

A plus – but not a must:

• Experience with backend technologies (Java, Node.js)
• Knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab CI)
• Experience with IoT-Cloud platforms (we're using Cumulocity technology)
• Understanding of application security and modern authentication methods
