Your Mission in This Role

As a Software Engineer at MS Technologies Australia, you’ll play a critical role in delivering scalable Microsoft-aligned solutions including AI-infused platforms, cloud-native services, and modernized applications. You will:
- Architect and build custom .NET and C# systems, including cloud-first applications, AI‑driven modules, and integration layers using Azure, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, and Azure services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-aligned enhancements, from predictive analytics features to automation engines.
- Transform legacy systems into modern, secure, and maintainable architectures aligned with client goals and compliance needs.
- Build and maintain robust integration workflows, ensuring seamless system interoperability.
- Design with scale, efficiency, and security in mind for high-performance enterprise environments.
- Drive innovation through technical leadership, championing best practices and guiding junior engineers.
- Support clients post-launch with reliability, agile updates, and proactive system evolution.
- Operate in a values-driven environment, guided by integrity, collaboration, and long-term client success.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone whose background reflects both technical excellence and an alignment with our futuristic vision:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- Has 5+ years of software engineering experience especially building Microsoft-stack solutions (C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, Azure).
- Demonstrates experience in AI integration, such as predictive modules, analytics features, or automation.
- Skilled in cloud environments (Azure), employing services like Azure Functions, App Services, or DevOps pipelines for deployment and scalability.
- Strong background in modernizing legacy systems, turning outdated codebases into secure, performance-optimized platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to engineer reliable integration services and ensure system interoperability.
- Natural problem‑solver with excellent analytical capabilities and a passion for crafting elegant code and strategic architecture.
- Leadership-minded able to mentor peers, establish engineering best practices, and steer technical direction.

Bonus Skills

- Experience with mobile development using Xamarin or similar cross-platform tools.
- Background in blockchain-based components or decentralized app architecture.
- Familiarity with networking or infrastructure design, supporting enterprise-grade system deployments.
