This role requires a strong understanding of embedded systems, networking, and cloud technologies. The Software Engineer (IoT) will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure IoT solutions. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and test software for IoT devices and systems. * Develop and maintain embedded software for various IoT devices. * Implement and maintain communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP, HTTP) for IoT devices. * Develop and maintain cloud-based IoT platforms and services (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT). * Integrate IoT devices with cloud platforms. * Develop and maintain APIs for IoT devices and services. * Implement security measures for IoT devices and systems. * Troubleshoot and debug software issues. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IoT solutions. * Participate in code reviews and provide feedback. * Stay up-to-date with the latest IoT technologies and trends. * Document software designs, code, and test results. Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on IoT. * Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python. * Experience with embedded systems development. * Experience with networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, CoAP, HTTP). * Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT). * Experience with RESTful APIs. * Experience with IoT device security. * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS). * Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, LoRaWAN). * Experience with data analytics and machine learning for IoT applications. * Experience with DevOps practices. * Experience with Agile development methodologies.
