Software Engineer Intern, Edge AI - Toolchain Job Description We are looking for Software Engineers Interns to grow our Edge AI & Systems software team to the next level. This team works within the larger ASIC team to architect and enhance Neural Network solutions in the Video Processor roadmap including these current and older products: https://www.ovt.com/products/oax8000/ https://www.ovt.com/products/oax4600/ https://www.ovt.com/products/oa7100/ This position works in a smaller team that specializes in building and maintaining the software toolchain to support our Edge AI products. As an intern, you will contribute to the development, testing, and documentation of software tools. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn about the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain software tools for Edge AI products. * Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. * Collaborate with senior engineers on design and implementation. * Document code and tools. * Participate in code reviews. Qualifications: * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. * Strong programming skills in C++ and/or Python. * Familiarity with software development tools and practices (e.g., Git, testing frameworks). * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus Points: * Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). * Experience with embedded systems development. * Experience with build systems (e.g., CMake, Make). * Familiarity with compiler toolchains.
