Job description
Our Ship & Back team is looking for a Full-Stack Software Development Engineer based in Lille or Paris.
Within the Value Chain domain, our Ship & Back team ensures the delivery of e-commerce orders, their tracking, as well as returns (warehouse and store) for all our countries via 5 key products. You will join the Trackbox product, the nerve center that ensures: Real-time tracking of orders to the final customer as well as visual monitoring of our delivery performance via a dedicated interface for managing On-Time Delivery (DOT) and Carrier On-Time (COT).

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION
On a daily basis, you will participate in both maintaining the current ecosystem in operational condition and designing the new target architecture. Your role will be key to:

Design & Scale: Participate in architectural choices to absorb the increasing load of global delivery flows.

Integrate & Manage: Connect new carriers and enrich our performance dashboards (DOT/COT).

Raise Standards: Contribute to good engineering practices and reduce maintenance workload (low run).
TECHNICAL STACK

Back-end (Core of the role - 80%): Java 25, Spring Boot 3+

Front-end (UI Adjustments & Dashboards - 20%): React

Architecture: Microservices, REST, Event-Driven (Kafka)

Cloud & Ops: GCP, Kubernetes, CI/CD

Observability: Datadog, SonarQube
WHAT YOU BRING
With at least 3 years of experience, you are proficient in developing critical and complex applications.

Backend Expertise: Solid mastery of the Java / Spring Boot ecosystem.

Frontend (React): Ability to work autonomously on an existing interface to integrate features or adapt visual components.

Architecture & Resilience: Experience in designing distributed systems (ideally Event-Driven / Kafka) aiming for a high level of availability and simplified maintenance.

Quality Culture: Demand for Clean Code, adherence to security standards, and test coverage rate.

Team Spirit & Mentoring: Enjoy teamwork (pair/mob programming), constructive code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
