Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Cybersecurity (Software Systems) product group. As a key member of our team, you'll design, develop, and deploy software solutions to safeguard our nation's cyber security. You'll work closely with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop and implement solutions, and ensure our products meet the needs of our operations users and stakeholders. Responsibilities Architect and build advanced cybersecurity software solutions that integrate with existing systems, leveraging expertise in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and mitigation techniques. Develop and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; 3+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the cybersecurity domain; Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and operating systems; Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript; Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git; Knowledge of security frameworks, regulations, and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
