Software Engineer - Cloud Solution AWS Place of work: Kraków Technologies we use Expected AWS Microsoft Azure Helm kubectl Azure CLI Docker Kubernetes Terraform Optional Kong API GW Nginx JSON YAML Protobuf Bash Python Jira Confluence Git Operating system Windows macOS Linux About the project Our team vision is constantly expanding, and now, in addition to expanding and managing public REST APIs for ESET cloud products and implementing microservices for syslog export, we are focused on strengthening our cloud infrastructure by developing new features and improving existing ones. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer who will join our Cloud Solutions team and help us achieve this goal. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS and other cloud technologies Implement and improve REST APIs for ESET cloud products Develop microservices for syslog export using Kubernetes and Docker Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize features and improvements Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and standards Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 2+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in cloud-based solutions Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#, etc.) Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms Familiarity with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of Helm, kubectl, and Azure CLI Experience with REST APIs, JSON, YAML, Protobuf, Bash, Jira, Confluence, Git, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) Nice to have: Experience with Kong API GW, Nginx, Terraform, and other cloud-related tools Strong understanding of software development principles, patterns, and best practices Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Certifications: AWS Certified Developer - Associate or equivalent Certification is not required but highly valued.
