Software Engineer Cloud Platform (m/w/d)

The AXSOL GmbH develops innovative battery storage systems for various applications. With our Energy Container Solutions, we combine stationary battery storage in modular energy containers with our own energy management system AXOS. This enables efficient integration of renewable energies, increases supply security, reduces energy costs, and creates reliable planning bases.

Your Mission

As part of our software team, you will continuously develop our cloud-based software platform for industrial battery storage systems. Together with the Product Owner and adjacent technical departments, you will develop modern services, interfaces, and platform components and lay the foundation for a safe, scalable, and reliable operation of our digital solutions.

Tasks

• Development and further development of services, APIs, and interfaces for our cloud-based software platform
• Technical integration of on-site systems, cloud components, and web-based applications
• Implementation of robust, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions in the product environment
• Further development of build-, test-, and deployment processes and their automation
• Participation in setting up and commissioning cloud and platform environments
• Collaboration on container-based application and platform environments with a focus on security and maintainability
• Participation in monitoring, logging, alerting, and error analysis to improve operational stability and runtime behavior
• Important technical solutions and processes so document that they remain understandable within the team
• Closely working together with Product Owner, software team, and adjacent technical departments

Qualification

• Degree, study or comparable qualification in the field of computer science, software development or a similar field
• Experience in developing backend-, web- or platform services, ideally in the cloud environment
• Good knowledge of at least one programming language for backend-, web- or cloud applications and handling APIs, interfaces, and databases
• Understanding of robust, maintainable, and well-tested software solutions and experience with automated tests
• First experience with containers, e.g. Docker, and interest in container-based platform environments
• Knowledge of CI/CD, build processes, and deployment automation
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, error analysis, and operating product-related applications
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style and team ability

Desirable

• Experience with Kubernetes or similar container platforms
• Contact points with infrastructure-as-code, e.g. Terraform or similar tools
• Experience with monitoring-, logging- or alerting-systems
• Basic knowledge of technical security topics, e.g. access concepts, secure configuration or secrets handling
