Software Engineer - Automation & Operations (m/w/d, FT)

Finton develops AI-supported FP&A software and services for German SMEs. Our platform combines financial reporting, KPI dashboards, data analysis, and centralized data access in a scalable solution. In combination with AI-controlled workflows and practical support from experienced finance experts, we help ambitious companies gain a clear and reliable view of their performance and make faster better decisions.

Since its founding in December 2023, we have grown and now manage more than 30 customers with a lean, highly competent team. As we continue to scale, we are building our team in Cologne and looking for people who want to shape the next generation of finance technology.

Aufgaben

You ensure that daily operations run smoothly, from minor issues to systems that prevent such issues from arising.

• Technical everyday problems of the Operations Team solve: You are the first point of contact when a data load hangs, an export fails, or someone asks, 'Can't we just automate this?'
• Automations build: You turn recurring, manual workflows into robust temporal workflows; this can involve data integration, account reconciliation, reporting, or developing internal tools.
• Work with With SQL and Python, you get to the bottom of problems, inspect pipelines, and deliver numbers and checks that the Operations Team relies on.
• Bulid what the team needs: Together with the Operations Team, you extend the Finton App and internal tools with features that significantly simplify daily work.

Qualifikation

We're looking for pragmatic developers who prefer to automate a problem rather than doing it manually. Your experience level counts less to us than what you've built and shipped (side projects count too).
