Responsibilities:

• You will work in an agile development team on our software products in the field of marine communication and make the quality concept tangible for the development teams.
• As a test expert in the team, you will be responsible for verifying the team's results, using suitable methods.
• You will actively participate in the creation, maintenance, and execution of unit tests to ensure code quality.
• You will develop and maintain automated tests, as well as manual test procedures where necessary, to safeguard release cycles – in close cooperation with the test team.

Qualifications:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Information Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• You possess a high degree of teamwork skills and open, transparent communication.
• You have prior experience in software testing.
• You have experience with unit tests.
• You possess good knowledge of Python and C++.
• You have experience with version control, preferably with GitLab or GitHub.
• You have good knowledge of agile methods such as Scrum.
• You work independently and goal-oriented.
• You have good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
