Software Development Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a highly skilled development team, promoting collaboration and a results-driven environment.
• Oversee project planning and execution to ensure timely, scoped, and budget-aligned delivery.
• Establish the technical vision and strategy for projects, making informed decisions regarding system architecture and technology stacks.
• Implement and advocate for best practices in coding, software quality, testing, and methodologies to maintain team standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Manage resource allocation, assess potential risks, and develop strategies for mitigation to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration and integration.

Requirements

• A degree in Information Technology, Business, and/or Finance.
• A minimum of 8 years of development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, .NET, JavaScript, and Python.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, database management, and cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and DevOps best practices.
• Strong experience in project management and resource allocation within development teams.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills for resolving complex technical challenges.
