Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz (ZG), the world leader in in-vitro diagnostics, is looking for a an ambitious SW-Developer with very good programming skills in C++ Software Development Engineer C++ (a) Your tasks - Full Lifecycle Development: Manage all phases of software development from feasibility studies through design, development, testing, and bug fixing, including software maintenance for embedded real-time capable Instrument-Control Software - Cross-functional Collaboration: Contribute to the development of innovative software solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance engineers, and technical writers - Requirements Engineering: Define and document software requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements, and ensure that they are properly communicated to the development team - Software Development: Develop software applications using C++ programming language, with focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability - Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability - Bug Fixing: Identify, troubleshoot, and fix software bugs in a timely and efficient manner - Software Maintenance: Perform software maintenance tasks, including bug fixing, performance optimization, and feature enhancements - Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and best practices with the development team, and contribute to the improvement of software development processes and methodologies - Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software development, preferably with C++ programming language - Skills: Strong programming skills in C++, experience with software development life cycles, knowledge of software testing and quality assurance methodologies, and experience with version control systems - Certifications: None - Tools: C++, Visual Studio, Git, JIRA - Frameworks: None - Technical Terms: Embedded real-time capable Instrument-Control Software, software development life cycles, software testing and quality assurance methodologies, version control systems
