Software Developer (TypeScript / .NET – GIS) m/w/x

The VertiGIS Group develops software solutions for Geographic Information Systems (GIS). We are a leading solution provider in the fields of energy supply, water management, land management, government agencies, infrastructure, facility management, and telecommunications. Our products help companies, networks, facilities, and processes to plan, manage, and optimize – worldwide in daily use.

You will be part of a development team and work on the further development of VertiGIS Networks with a focus on frontend technologies. In this role, you will develop functions in TypeScript based on VertiGIS Studio and actively participate in the technical elaboration of solutions within the team.

The Tasks

Frontend Development & Feature Implementation

• Implementation of functions and features for VertiGIS Networks with a focus on frontend development (TypeScript / React)

• Development and extension of UI components within the existing architecture

• Further development of existing functionalities with a focus on code quality and maintainability

Techical Implementation & Solution Development in Team

• Technical evaluation of requirements and derivation of implementable solutions within the team

• Participation in technical specifications and coordination with architecture and implementation issues

Development & Tools

• Use of modern development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) in daily development

• Contribution to code quality and further development of existing development processes within the team

• Development with TypeScript / JavaScript in web environment

• Knowledge of .NET or comparable backend technologies

• Understanding of technical requirements and their implementation

• Safe handling of common development tools

• Linguistic skills: German: C1, English: B2

Desired

• Experience with React or comparable frontend frameworks

• Contact points with GIS systems or data-driven applications, e.g. in the context of the Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Enterprise/Online, Utility Network) or ArcGIS-like web technologies

• Experience working in product or project teams

The position is to be filled at one of the following locations in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland:

Switzerland: Burgdorf

Germany: Munich

Austria: Innsbruck, Vienna

The following details apply to an employment in Austria:

• The employment will take place according to the IT collective agreement

• The minimum gross annual salary for this position is €45,738.00 (38.5 hours/week). The actual remuneration depends on qualifications and experience.
