Software Developer - Platform (m/f/d)

Do you enjoy developing software where you can help shape technical solutions from idea to implementation?
In our "Designer" team, you will actively contribute to the future of our in-house Rapid Application Platform and work on the next generation of our own development environment.

Here, you will develop technical concepts, implement them, and also take care of testing, debugging, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Active shaping and development of the next generation of our development environment
• Development of technical concepts based on business requirements
• Independent implementation and further development of software components
• Development with both Java and TypeScript
• Conception, implementation, and maintenance of unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Analysis and resolution of errors, as well as continuous improvement of code quality
• Documentation of technical solutions and developments
• Taking responsibility for your tickets and the components you develop
• Active participation in the Scrum team and contributing your own ideas and perspectives

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development after university or vocational training, ideally in an enterprise environment
• Enjoy actively shaping technical solutions, questioning existing approaches, and contributing your own ideas
• Sound knowledge of object-oriented programming and confident use of Java
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, or the willingness to develop in this area
• Good understanding of software architecture and complex technical contexts
• Experience with automated testing and debugging
• Structured and independent way of working
• Willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies and topics
• Good German skills (at least C1) for smooth team communication
• Willingness to work 2-3 days per week in the office in Geisenhausen – for exchange, team spirit, and genuine dialogue
