Software Developer Middle

We are looking for a person to fill the role of Software Developer Middle

As a Software Developer Middle, you will join the team dedicated to the

digitalization of logistics and port processes.

You will work on the evolutionary maintenance of our core systems (PCS) and actively participate

in the incremental transition towards modern microservices architectures.

Job profile

The selected person will be responsible for:

• Developing and optimizing legacy back-end (Java) and front-end (jsp, jquery) components for managing logistics entities.
• Designing and implementing REST, SOAP APIs (Spring Boot) and evolving integration services towards other systems, according to the most appropriate design patterns.
• Isolating and progressively migrating logistics business entities (Advance Notices, Transits, Permits) following modern architectural patterns.
• Collaborating on the incremental migration of legacy modules (EJB, WebServlet on Wildfly) towards Cloud-Native microservices.
• Ensuring code security by following OWASP standards (Security by Design).

Skills and experience

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science
• Minimum experience of 4 years in the role
• Excellent knowledge of Java and consolidated experience with the Spring / Spring Boot framework.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) / JQuery.
• Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB) and writing optimized queries.
• Mindset oriented towards Clean Code and teamwork.

Considered a plus:

• Familiarity with Linux environments, Knowledge of Docker, Application Servers (Wildfly/JBoss) and basic concepts of asynchronous messaging (JMS/Artemis).
