Software Developer Linux Python Integrations (m/f/d) REMOTE

I am looking for a Software Developer Linux Python Integrations (m/f/d) for my long-standing client.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of software solutions under Linux with Python to ensure seamless integrations.
• Analysis and optimization of existing system integrations to improve efficiency and performance.
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.
• Support in troubleshooting and technical problem-solving in the area of software integration.
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for developed software solutions and integration processes.

Qualifications

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification – or you have several years of professional experience in the IT environment.

• Python Expertise: You have been developing with Python on Linux systems for at least three years.

• Protocols & Services: You have experience in integrating services via APIs and protocols such as REST, OpenID Connect, LDAP, and SQL. Ideally, you are familiar with identity management systems such as Samba/Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, and OpenLDAP.

• Container Competence: You are proficient in using Docker and are familiar with container-based development.

• Backend Architecture: You develop scalable systems that function reliably even in large environments.

• Solution Orientation: You enjoy working in a team and finding pragmatic, sustainable solutions.

• Nice to have

• Experience with pytest, Playwright, and GitLab.

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and CSS.

• System Proximity: You are familiar with Debian and its package management.

• Experience in the field of authentication and authorization procedures.

• OpenID Connect IdPs: Keycloak.
