Software Developer II (OVA5410)

Overview 12-Month Contract We are recruiting a Software Engineer (API) for a 12-month contract with a leading client in the banking sector . In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining APIs that power high-performing mobile applications . You'll work closely with mobile development and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration, security, and optimal performance. Responsibilities Design APIs in collaboration with cross-functional teams, aligned with business requirements and technical standards. Develop, test, and deploy APIs using various programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Collaborate with the mobile development team to integrate APIs into mobile applications. Work closely with DevOps engineers to ensure seamless integration of APIs with other systems. Ensure API security, scalability, and performance. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the software. Develop and maintain technical documentation for APIs. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in API design and development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining APIs. Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles. Experience with Java, Python, or C# programming languages. Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins.
