Your Role

At isento, security is an integral part of excellent software architecture: We develop business-critical web and cloud applications that function reliably in everyday use and are protected from the ground up.

As a Software Developer with a focus on Secure Software Development, you will actively contribute to our projects using Java, Spring Boot, Python, or Angular. At the same time, you will play a key role in internal knowledge building: you will engage with modern security aspects, share best practices with colleagues, and be involved in future-oriented topics such as the secure development and protection of AI systems and LLMs.

You can expect well-coordinated isento teams, flat hierarchies, and the freedom to contribute your own ideas and actively shape the topic of software security throughout the entire company.

Tasks

Your tasks at isento

• In the team, you will design and develop modern and secure software solutions in the cloud and web environment based on Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Understandable code, automated tests, mutual code reviews, and pair programming are just as much a part of your daily work as jointly finding the best technical solution.
• Within your team, you will be the point of contact for secure software solutions and will also support other teams with questions regarding secure coding and security analysis.
• You will actively contribute your know-how at isento: you will shape internal tech sessions, raise awareness of current threats, and establish best practices in daily work. You will engage with modern trends in application security, DevSecOps, and the secure and data protection-compliant use of AI systems.

Qualification

What you bring with you

• Several years of practical experience in software development with Java and a good understanding of modern web architectures.
• Genuine enthusiasm for secure coding and DevSecOps.
• Enjoy passing on knowledge within the team, inspiring colleagues about security topics, and learning from each other.
• Knowledge of Spring Boot, Angular, Python, relational databases, Docker, cloud technologies, and Generative AI is helpful.
• Proficient German skills (at least B2) and good English for successful coordination within the team and with clients.
