Software Developer C#/.NET (m/f/d) - DevOps

We are IBS Schreiber – for over 45 years, a family-owned company for SAP Security, based in the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg. Our business areas include our academy, audit and consulting business, as well as the development of software solutions that help companies manage access risks and make IT security easily accessible.

Our technical core: The Product & Technology division. Here, we develop scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions – both as an on-premise version and as a cloud service.

For this, we are looking for you, starting immediately, as a Software Developer C#/.NET (m/f/d) – DevOps at our Hamburg location in full-time (39 hours).

Responsibilities

• further developing and modernizing existing software solutions with C#, .NET 8+ and .NET Framework 4.8.
• developing and supporting cloud-ready backend and server components, interfaces, and database access with Entity Framework / ORMs and PostgreSQL.
• operating Windows and Linux servers and automating deployment, operational, and management processes.
• working with CI/CD, containers, and Infrastructure as Code and further developing cloud-ready applications.
• contributing to monitoring, logging, error analysis, performance optimization, and IT security and documenting technical solutions.
• working in a role with a clear development focus: 70% software development and 30% DevOps/system operation.

Qualifications

We think you are a fit for us if you…

• have several years of experience with C# and .NET 8+; knowledge of .NET Framework 4.8 and the Microsoft environment is a plus. Knowledge of SAP systems or SAP authorizations is a plus, but explicitly not a requirement.
• have experience with Entity Framework / ORMs, PostgreSQL, and relational databases
• are proficient in handling Windows and Linux servers as well as PostgreSQL and relational databases and have an interest in software deployment, server operation, and automation.
• work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner and enjoy familiarizing yourself with complex technical topics.
• ideally have experience with WPF, Telerik, CI/CD, containers, cloud, monitoring, or Infrastructure as Code
• have very good German language skills, both spoken and written
