Software Developer C/C++ (m/w/d) Location Esslingen am Neckar Responsibilities Development and maintenance of network communication modules (TCP/IP) in a client-server architecture Implementation of synchronous socket communication under Windows Integration and adaptation of embedded real-time operating systems (e.g. Segger embOS) on PC platforms Use of the Windows API to implement multithreading, timer, and event handling Analysis and optimization of Windows OS internals (Thread Scheduling, System Calls, Memory Management) Development of software components for a distributed system using C/C++ Programming languages Proficiency in debugging tools such as Visual Studio Debugger, GDB, or similar Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, SVN, or similar Experience with Agile development methodologies and Scrum framework Familiarity with Linux operating system and its command line interface Knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns Understanding of computer networks and protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP) Understanding of data structures and algorithms Familiarity with testing frameworks and unit tests Proficiency in written and spoken English
