Software Consultant

We are Signum Warenwirtschaftssysteme, a specialized software manufacturer from Darmstadt.
For over 30 years, we have been developing inventory management solutions for retail, gastronomy, and other industries – with a nationwide team that is predominantly remote working.

Tasks
As a Software Consultant, you will be the central interface between our customers and our software. You will accompany projects from kick-off to successful live operation and ensure that our solutions really help in everyday life.
- You support our customers in getting the most out of their inventory management software
- You install and configure our software – at the customer's site, remotely, or in the cloud
- You analyze business processes and translate them into suitable software solutions
- You conduct online and presence-based training sessions and enable customers to work optimally with the program
- You coordinate the necessary steps with all involved partners
- You provide valuable customer feedback to development and support, and actively shape our software together
Qualification
- A degree or study in the IT field – or comparable practical experience (cross-industry professionals with work experience are explicitly welcome!)
- Pleasure in communication and a confident approach to customers
- Structured, self-reliant working style and organizational talent
- Ideal knowledge of the processes in retail or gastronomy and initial experiences in dealing with inventory management and cash register systems
- Good knowledge of Windows systems and networks
- Experience with relational databases, SQL knowledge is a plus
- Very good German language skills, English language skills are welcome
