Responsibilities:

• You configure, test, and deploy a complex Naval Communication System for internal test environments and demanding customer projects.
• You integrate product deliveries and subsystems into a high-performance overall solution in test facilities and customer environments.
• You install ship communication systems on test systems as well as on customer systems at our locations Teisnach or Kiel and ensure their reliable commissioning.
• You record log files, analyze system behavior, and identify root causes of errors in complex system landscapes.
• You process defects in Jira, coordinate closely with development, and provide well-founded technical feedback for bug fixing.
• You significantly contribute to the setup, further development, and automation of the test system at the Munich site.

Qualifications:

• You have successfully completed a degree in a technical or natural science field, or possess comparable qualifications or training.
• You have in-depth know-how in RPM Package Management as well as in Linux and Windows administration.
• You have experience with CI/CD, test automation, and modern tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, or Python.
• You have basic knowledge of IP network technology and are proficient in handling servers, network switches, and complex IT and communication systems.
• You possess a strong ability for structured error analysis, can communicate clearly with your relevant stakeholders, and enjoy working in a team.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills complete your profile.
