Software Asset Manager SAM (w/m/d) in Berlin

We are looking for a Software Asset Manager SAM (w/m/d) in employment according to labor leasing and option for subsequent direct hiring.

Tasks

• Optimization of software license holdings and maintenance contracts
• Active control and processing of SAM-Tickets in ServiceNow
• Obtaining and reviewing offers
• Creation of reports and forecasts on software usage
• Management of external software manufacturer portals
• Documented and maintenance of data
• Analysis and creation of evaluations as needed

Qualification

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or comparable
• Experiences in the field of software license agreements with common manufacturers (Adobe, Citrix, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, VMware et.) required or corresponding technical expertise in the technical area
• Very good knowledge of free and open source SW-licensing regulations (e.g. GPL, MIT, etc.) desirable
• Familiarity with Software Asset Management Tools (e.g. Aspera SmartTrack or LIMA or Open IT) advantageous
• Very good German and English skills

Duration: 18 months (with option for extension)
