Job description
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a software developer who will own the end-to-end technical architecture of the platform: Laravel backend, decoupled web (React) and mobile (React Native / Expo) applications, multi-tenancy database-per-country, AWS infrastructure, and technical governance for a team of experts (mobile, frontend, DevOps, DBA, integrations, AI).
Requirements (mandatory)
Completed university studies in Computer Science / Computers / Automation / Software Engineering.
At least one of the recognized certifications for the role:
Minimum 8 years of experience in software development, of which 3+ years in architecture / technical lead roles.
In-depth expertise in the PHP / Laravel ecosystem (Laravel, Octane, Horizon; Filament — significant plus).
Databases (MySQL, Redis), performance tuning, read/write splitting. Constitutes an advantage
Experience with React / React Native (Expo).
Experience in projects funded by European funds (POC / PoCIDIF / PNRR).
Experience with OCR / ML pipelines, payment systems, multi-channel notifications. We Offer

Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Defining and maintaining the overall architecture: modular monolithic Laravel API (stateless), with decoupled web and mobile frontends.
- Multi-tenancy architecture: database-per-country model (stancl/tenancy), tenant identification by domain (.ro/.bg/.hu/.md), separate Filament panels per domain.
- Data architecture: MySQL with read/write splitting, Redis with Sentinel, caching and queue strategy (Laravel Horizon).
- Design for scalability and high availability (multi-AZ, read replicas, DR plan).
- API design and contracts: REST, OpenAPI (Scribe), versioning, contract testing.
- Multi-country security and GDPR compliance architecture; strict tenant isolation.
- Cloud/infra architecture on AWS (Frankfurt), IaC with Terraform, CI/CD (Laravel Forge + GitHub Actions).
- Technical governance: code standards, review of structural proposals, technology decisions.
- Technical coordination and mentoring for the expert team; alignment of integrations (OCR, AI assistant, Stripe/Netopia payments, FCM/SendGrid/Twilio notifications).

Alemele is a multi-tenant, multi-country SaaS platform (Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Republic of Moldova, etc.) for managing personal assets — properties, vehicles, documents, and fiscal assets — with OCR document extraction, AI assistant, asset scoring, digital asset file transfer, etc. It is an innovative product under development, with a European funding component.
