We are looking for reinforcement in the BMS team for our subsidiary, CELLOVATE GmbH.
CELLOVATE GmbH was founded as a joint venture between MANUGY Holding GmbH (MGY) and PEM Aachen GmbH (PEM). The goal of the joint company is to develop innovative battery technologies, industrialize them, and produce them locally.
This includes the development of customized battery management systems for our products in stationary and mobile applications.
Tasks
As a Software Architect, you are expected to …
+take responsibility for defining and further developing the software architecture of a BMS for stationary energy storage (BESS)
+create and maintain the architecture on system-, software-, and component-level
+structure and partition MATLAB/Simulink models according to architectural guidelines
+define interfaces between application software, base software, and hardware
+integrate base software into the overall software architecture
+establish modeling guidelines, development standards, and best practices
+support software integration as well as technical error analysis
+work closely with system architects, software developers, and test engineers
Qualification
To start your career as a Software Developer MATLAB/Simulink, you need …
+to have already completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable field
+to have more than 3 years of experience in software architecture for embedded systems
+to have very good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development
+to have experience with automotive architectures and software design (AUTOSAR)
+to have fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity according to ISO/SAE 21434 and the development of functionally secure software according to IEC 61508
+it would be desirable to have knowledge in developing battery management systems
+to possess good English and German language skills
+you would describe yourself as customer-oriented, team-oriented, responsible, and communicative
