Job Requisition ID 25WD93562 Position Overview Our team within Autodesk Construction is looking for a Software Architect to help us build collaborative tools for Payment Solutions. We facilitate payments between builders and subcontractors, making the construction process much more efficient and allowing owners and general contractors to easily monitor progress. As a software architect on the team, you'll be responsible for owning, building, and maintaining the overall architecture that provides the foundation for our payment solutions. This includes designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable systems that meet the needs of our users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design to ensure that our software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. In addition, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining technical roadmaps, identifying and prioritizing key initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business outcomes. You will also be expected to stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software architecture, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve our systems and processes. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years of experience as a software architect; Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment; Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure; Familiarity with containerization using Docker; Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks; Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
