Smart Teachers is seeking an inspiring and dynamic Sociology Teacher to join a large and thriving secondary academy in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to teach engaging and challenging lessons to students across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.

• Delivering high-quality Sociology lessons at GCSE and A-Level.

• Planning and preparing engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

• Contributing to the development of the department’s curriculum and resources.

• Participating fully in departmental meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives.

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching Sociology at Key Stage 4 and ideally Key Stage 5.

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.

• A commitment to inclusive education and high standards of achievement.
