Right now, we are looking for a Team Manager to play a pivotal role in our Complex needs Service in Tower Hamlets. Sounds great, what will I be doing? You will oversee and coordinate the management of a High Support Accommodation based service and Services that provide support to vulnerable adults with complex needs. This includes managing a team of Social Workers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality services to our clients. You will also work closely with other teams within Hestia to ensure effective communication and collaboration. As part of this role, you will be responsible for: • Developing and implementing service plans that meet the needs of our clients; • Managing a budget and making financial decisions that align with our organisational goals; • Building relationships with stakeholders, including local authorities, other agencies, and community groups; • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation; • Providing leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-quality services; • Identifying and addressing any gaps or issues in service delivery; • Collaborating with other teams within Hestia to ensure effective communication and collaboration. What do I need to bring to the role? You will need: • A degree in Social Work or a related field; • Significant experience of working in a social care setting, preferably in a management role; • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire your team; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders; • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required; • A strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults and the complexities of delivering services to this group.
