SOCIAL WORKER FOR MINORS

WE ARE RECRUITING A SOCIAL WORKER FOR MINORS with CONSOLIDATED EXPERIENCE in the service and role, location and place of work is Aviano, in the province of Pordenone, Friuli-Venezia Giulia region. We propose a DIRECT HIRE. WHO WE ARE We are a Cooperative born in 2005, thanks to the commitment of young and willing professionals in the social field, present on the territory with preventive and educational/assistance purposes, aimed at social inclusion for minors and young people coming from critical family situations.

The Socio-Educational Community for Minors is a residential structure with continuous and permanent character, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The house is located immersed in the green of Aviano in the province of Pordenone (PN). It has a family-sized layout and is intended to host a maximum of 8 male minors.

The Community was born to respond to a social need closely connected to educational needs: welcoming minors who are found in situations of strong environmental, social, and psychological criticism, who have not found a balanced family context that can protect and maintain their healthy physical and mental development.

The building is a two-story villa with a total area of approximately 250 square meters. The ground floor consists of a large kitchen, an office, a bathroom reserved for educational staff, a spacious and bright living room, a dining room, and a room dedicated to the study of guests, laboratory activities, or recreational visits facilitated by family members of the minors hosted.

The night zone is composed of two guest bathrooms (one prepared and equipped for people with disabilities), four double bedrooms for guests, and one single bedroom for educational staff. The basement has a laundry room, storage room, and small gym. The Community has a large garden rich in vegetation that is equipped with a small soccer field and volleyball net.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR A social worker/social educator preferably with at least initial experience in the field of minors.

REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor's degree in education or one of the qualifications provided by law Iori

- Strong listening, comprehension, and empathy skills

- Availability to work on shifts

- Previous experience is welcome at least in internship
