Social Media, Marketing & Communication Internship (m/f/d) for the AI Academy

STARTPLATZ is the largest coworking and startup ecosystem in NRW – with locations in Düsseldorf and Cologne, over 1,500 startups in the network, and more than 4,000 connections. STARTPLATZ includes the STARTPLATZ AI Academy: It offers practical AI training for individuals and companies. In this internship, you will be part of the STARTPLATZ marketing team and make this offering visible – with content, campaigns, and community work around AI.

Tasks

• Content Creation & Video: You will create social media posts, Shorts/Reels, graphics, and newsletters about the AI Academy's AI training – sometimes even in front of the camera yourself.
• Community Management: You will manage our online community, moderate discussions, and build engagement around AI topics.
• Trend Scouting: You will follow trends and algorithm developments on LinkedIn, TikTok & Co. and bring new formats to the team.
• Event Marketing: You will market workshops and training sessions, accompany events with the camera, and prepare the highlights for our channels.
• Campaigns & Growth: You will plan and run advertising campaigns for the course offerings and increase our organic visibility.
• AI Tooling: You will use modern AI tools in your daily work to speed up content creation and processes.

Qualifications

• Your Status: You are an enrolled student or in an orientation phase – mandatory internship, voluntary internship, and orientation internship are possible.
• Digital Native: You are familiar with Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube and understand what works there.
• Creativity & Writing Talent: You develop your own ideas and implement them appealingly in text and design (e.g., with Canva).
• Courage for the Camera: You enjoy being in front of the lens and creating authentic content.
• AI Curiosity: You find Artificial Intelligence exciting and want to learn how to use it in marketing.
• Language Proficiency: Very good German skills, both written and spoken.
