Part-time / Full-time · Location: Mitte - Berlin

We are a non-profit educational organization with several kindergartens, a family center, an academy for professional development and a vocational school for social pedagogy. Our work is characterized by pedagogical quality, social responsibility and engagement in education.

To further develop our external communication, we are looking for a creative and structured person for our Social Media Management.

Tasks

Content & Editorial Planning

  • Planning and implementation of social media content (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, possibly LinkedIn)
  • Development of a target group-oriented editorial plan (parents, professionals, applicants)
  • Creation of texts, images and simple videos (Reels, Stories etc.)

Operative Social Media Management

  • Maintenance and care of our channels in daily business
  • Community management (comments, messages, interaction)
  • Ensuring a consistent appearance (tone, image, values)

Recruiting & Image

  • Support in the area of Persönliche Gewinnung (e.g. campaigns for educators, teachers)
  • Presentation of our company as an attractive employer
  • Glimpses into the daily work of our institutions

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Tight collaboration with kindergarten leaders, academy and vocational school
  • Coordination of content and themes from the institutions
  • Sensitive handling of pedagogical contexts (data protection, image rights)

Analysis & Further Development

  • Evaluation of key figures (reach, engagement etc.)
  • Optimization of content and formats
  • Observation of current trends in the education and social media sectors

Qualification

Experience in social media management, ideally in the education, social or non-profit sector

Sure sense for target group-oriented communication

Experience in content creation (text, image, video)

Structured and self-reliant working style

Communication strength and organizational skills

Knowledge of common tools (e.g. Canva, Meta Business Suite etc.)

Sensitivity in handling children, parents and pedagogical content
