Job description

You open Instagram in the morning and don't think "what are people doing" but "that could have been done better"? You know why a hook needs to land in the first 1.5 seconds and why the algorithm is sometimes a moody friend? Perfect.

We are looking for someone who doesn't just understand social, but lives it – and uses AI tools as naturally as other people use Canva. With us, you'll manage real brands with real goals, not made-up case studies, and develop social strategies that are more than just "three posts a week and a competition in December".

Responsibilities

  • You will independently manage social media channels for various clients – strategy, planning, implementation, optimization.
  • You will develop content strategies and editorial plans that not only look good but also perform.
  • You will conceptualize social content: scripts for Reels/short videos, hooks, captions, content day planning.
  • You will analyze KPIs, create reports, and derive concrete measures – Data beats gut feeling.
  • You will plan and coordinate content days with the production team.
  • You will do community management and social listening – and know when to respond and when it's better not to.
  • You will use AI tools for content creation, trend analysis, copywriting, and ideation – and continuously optimize your workflows.
  • You will advise clients on trends, formats, and platform updates.
  • You will work with performance data and ideally have experience with Paid Social/Ads.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in Social Media Management (agency, in-house, or freelance).
  • You know Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook not just as a user, but strategically.
  • You can create social concepts, scripts, and editorial plans that work.
  • You use AI pragmatically and curiously in everyday life (e.g., for captions, ideas, analyses, automation).
  • Creative and analytical at the same time: You can pitch an idea and in the next breath explain CTR/retention.
  • Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, analytics platforms, Canva, or similar.
  • Independent work style and a desire to take responsibility.
  • Very good German, good English (memes count as language proficiency).

Benefits

  • Real clients with real budgets – no "just make something nice for free."
  • A team of filmmakers, designers, strategists, and geeks who can achieve more together than the sum of their parts.
  • AI tools as standard, not as a nice-to-have – we invest seriously in AI-powered workflows.
  • Autonomy and creative freedom instead of micromanagement.
  • Modern office in Heidelberg, flexible hours, and a team that enjoys working together (and then grabbing a beer together afterward).
  • Growth opportunities in an agency that is really picking up speed.
  • Company pension scheme is important to us, so we invest in your future today and you in ours.
  • Of course, we also offer top coffee, drinks, cool team events, and other standard benefits.

Sounds like you? Then send us your CV, some work samples, and a few lines about why you're excited about this.
No lengthy cover letter needed. We want to know who you are – not how well you can Google clichés.
