We are looking for a creative and strategically thinking Social Media Manager (m/f/d) to independently shape and further develop our social media presence.

In this role, you will shape how people experience Heimplanet on social media. You will develop creative ideas, tell our brand story, and create content that excites our community. You will keep an eye not only on trends and new formats, but also on the performance of our channels.

Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Content Creation

• You will further develop our social media strategy and implement creative ideas that increase our brand awareness and excite our community.

• From the initial idea to the finished post: you will plan, create, and publish diverse content in the form of images, videos, Reels, and texts.

• You will manage our social media channels in day-to-day operations and ensure regular, target-group-oriented communication.

Community Management & Collaborations

• You will actively expand our community, maintain existing contacts, and strengthen the relationship with our target audience.

• You will identify suitable content creators, influencers, and brand ambassadors, establish new contacts, and develop long-term collaborations.

Trends & Performance

• You will keep an eye on current social media trends, new formats, and platform developments, and bring fresh ideas to our content strategy.

• You will analyze the performance of our channels, evaluate relevant key figures, and derive measures for the further development of our social media activities.

Collaboration & Campaigns

• You will work closely with our marketing and design team and support the creative implementation of campaigns, product launches, and other projects.

Qualifications

• You already have experience in social media management and know how to create content that grabs attention and excites people.

• You feel at home on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn, and you know their different target audiences and formats.

• You are familiar with common social media and analytics tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, or comparable applications.

• You have basic knowledge of photo and video editing and are familiar with common editing tools.

• You are communicative, open, and enjoy making new contacts and building relationships.

• You work creatively, independently, and in a structured manner, while also keeping an eye on the performance of your content.

• You are enthusiastic about the outdoor world and can identify with our products and our brand.

• You communicate confidently in German and English, both in writing and orally.
