Job description
Our client in Sandton, a leading name in the South African FMCG industry, is looking for a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to take their digital presence to the next level.
-Develop and execute engaging social media strategies and content calendars
-Manage content across relevant social media platforms
-Create compelling short-form video and multimedia content
-Drive engagement, brand awareness, reach and follower growth
-Build relationships with influencers, creators and brand advocates
-Identify trends and cultural moments to keep the brand relevant
-Analyse performance and optimise campaigns for maximum ROI/ROAS
-Build an engaged online community and strengthen brand loyalty
-BCom Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies or equivalent
-5+ years experience in content creation, marketing or a similar role
-Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
-Experience with Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator and/or video editing tools
-Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, TikTok Ads Manager or similar platforms
-Understanding of paid social media, social SEO, algorithms and digital funnels
-Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
-Creative, adaptable, proactive and results-driven
