Social Media Creator & Manager (m/f/d)

5VISION is a media agency from Darmstadt. We produce daily news, reports, client projects, and live streams – from the initial idea to multi-camera production. Under 5VISION NEWS, around 1,000 productions are created each year for broadcasters, media houses, and press agencies. With 5VISION MEDIA, 5VISION PRODUCTIONS, and 5VISION TECH, we also develop content, carry out productions, and develop software for the media industry.

We are not looking for someone who simply fills out templates. We are looking for someone who turns strong material into strong social media content: fast, creative, reliable, and with a real feel for what works on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, or WhatsApp.

Tasks

You will support us in making our own brands and selected client projects visible on social media – with ideas, structure, and content that people won't just scroll past.

• You will develop independent posts, Reels, Shorts, and Story formats from existing video, photo, and news material.
• You will identify topics with potential and proactively suggest content, series, and current formats.
• You will plan and publish content for our channels – especially around 5VISION NEWS.
• You will write captions, hooks, and texts that are clear, appropriate for the target audience, and don't sound like standard marketing.
• You will manage the social media channels of 5VISION NEWS and think about how we can increase reach and relevance.
• You will evaluate the performance of our content and derive concrete improvements from it.
• You will observe trends, new platform features, and comparable accounts – and filter out what is truly sensible for us.
• You will coordinate directly with the management team – without unnecessary loops and processes.

Qualification

What you should bring

• You have a good eye for visual language, timing, editing, and formats that work on social media.
• You can confidently edit short videos and know why the first few seconds determine reach.
• You can create graphics, Story slides, and thumbnails – the software is up to you.
• You work confidently with the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• You formulate good texts: short, clear, correct, and with a feel for tonality.
• You work independently, contribute your own ideas, and reliably meet deadlines.
• Willingness for regular exchange in our office in Darmstadt.
• You don't need a perfect CV – but work samples, a portfolio, or your own channels that showcase your style.
• You know that AI can do more than just write astonishingly professional job advertisements – and you use it meaningfully.
