SOC Consultant (Security Operations Center) (m/w/d)

We are looking for a SOC Consultant (Security Operations Center) (m/w/d) to strengthen our team. In this position, you will take on tasks in building and operating a Security Operations Center (SOC) as well as monitoring and analyzing security-relevant events. You will work in modern IT and cloud environments and support the secure operation of security platforms.

The task is performed 100% remotely. Very good German language skills in writing and speaking are essential for this position.

Tasks

• Building a classical Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Operating the Security Operations Center (SOC)
• Taking over operational responsibility
• Conducting incident response including reporting
• Maintaining reaction times under 8 hours
• Security monitoring
• Implementing and maintaining a SIEM platform
• Developing SIEM rules
• Developing security use cases
• Automating security processes (SIEM/SOAR-like approaches)
• Implementing cloud security
• Implementing supply chain security
• Processing precedents via Jira as a ticket system
• Collaboration with Azure, IAM, and other security platforms
