Tyler Wren is currently partnering with a respected Kiwi-owned brokerage to appoint this position.
Are you ready to step up from Broker Support into managing your own portfolio? Or currently managing your own small book of commercial clients. This position suits an established broker or an ambitious Broker Support ready to take on more responsibility and drive their own client outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of SME clients across varied industries
- Collaborate with underwriters to design tailored and competitive cover
- Produce and implement policy documentation, renewals, and adjustments
- Identify opportunities to expand your portfolio and contribute to business growth
- 2–5 years’ experience in commercial insurance (broker or broker support level)
- New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5)/ ANZIIF
- Strong product knowledge across key commercial lines
- Confident communicator with the ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver results
