Smals - Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Your role As Senior Data Analytics Engineer you are part of Information Delivery Services (IDS), the data team that is responsible for implementing the common data platform at a client who is a major player in social security for the domains unemployment, career break and time credit. You combine an analytical approach with technical expertise to design, build and maintain scalable data models and transformation pipelines. You will work closely together with the business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs. Your tasks include designing and implementing data architectures, developing and maintaining data pipelines, working with large datasets, creating data visualizations and reports, and collaborating with other teams to integrate data into business processes. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the data and the data platforms, as well as identifying and mitigating potential risks. You are expected to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of data analytics and to apply this knowledge to improve the data platforms and services. The ideal candidate has a master's degree in Data Science or a related field, at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, and a strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
